V Sprint Championship
The Vsprint Championship is now well underway with more riders in Classes B (road legal) and C (racing class). Terry Harrison (Class B) on his 1200cc Yamaha is going great guns, first establishing the track record at East Kirkby in April with an 11.44, breaking it in May with an 11.40, and once again at the June meeting with an 11.06. Likewise at Elvington in April he established the track record with an 11.37 and broke it at the June meeting by doing an 11.34. Graham Sykes on The Syko (Class C) established the track record at East Kirkby in May with a 10.92. While Phil Wood on his Harley Destroyer (Class C) established the track record at Elvington in June with a 10.59 - a warm welcome to the V Sprint Phil. Organisers are still looking for Harley riders for Class A, where there are track records to be established. If you own a Harley, why not come and have a go. The next event is the Carlisle Show on July 23, at the Carlisle Racecourse, Cumbria Police Road Safe 2006, junction 42 off the M6 and follow the signs,
